  Gaither junior Michael Fernandez struck out 10 in six innings on the mound, allowing one run on four hits. Nico Lopez was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and two RBI, and Miguel Pina was 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI.

  Cowboys Win at home vs Sumner 4-1

  Junior Zach Callahan pitched a complete-game, holding Sumner to one unearned run, striking out eight as Gaither defeated the Stingrays on Monday. Scout Simpson hit a solo homer in the first, and Josh Choe singled, stole second and third and scored on an error in the third inning.
