Gaither Baseball was given a reality check after losing at home to district opponent Leto. Since then the Cowboys have won 4 straight game, 3 of which were district games (King, Chamberlain, and Hillsborough) with a lot hanging in the balance. Over the 4-game span, the Cowboys’ offense has averaged over 10 runs per game with their pitching and defense only allowing an average of 3.5 runs. The Cowboys look to continue putting runs across the board as they face off against Alonso at home in a Saladino rematch followed by Leto (Away), King (Home), and Chamberlain (Away) to wrap up regular season distract play in 2018. Entering the last month of the 2018 regular season, the Cowboys are on the right path to achieving their one and only goal: a State Championship!
